Pet owners often turn to pesticides to kill fleas that infest their pet dogs or cats. If ingested, these pesticides can cause health hazards to the animals and may even prove fatal. Natural essential and herbal oils kill fleas just as effectively as pesticides. However, some herbal oils that kill fleas on dogs may not prove equally effective for cats because cats tend to lick themselves clean. 1. Neem Oil
